We usually hear this word when we’re having a bit of a bad day. “Have some faith things will get better!” People say.
But what is faith?
Depends on who you ask, honestly
Faith (n)-complete trust or confidence in someone or something. But the other definition according to the Bible,
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Which leads to the question, who or what do you trust completely and believe in?
As believers, we are called to have faith in all areas of our lives. So many days it can look like we are not making any progress or like our deeds are going unnoticed. Maybe it is having faith that God will provide a need, or even answer a prayer. Whatever it is, we are all expectant.
Faith in God believes that you believe in God, and in His son Jesus Christ. That you have declared it with your lips and believed in your heart.
Most important, you have to begin to operate in faith. This means you have to change the way you walk, act. Because you are now not hopeful of what God is going to do, but expectant. Your heart posture changes.
I am learning to trust in the ultimate plan for God in my life. Not that it’s an easy walk. Or an easy journey. But God continues to reassure me through His word.
Continuing to trust in His faithfulness and His plan.
Continuing to carry on.He has a plan for me. He created me in His image. He will guide my steps.
Continuing to walk by faith. I will allow myself to continue to live by His will.
Sending you love.
Have a lot of faith today!
