TAKING STOCK 12

There is beauty in falling apart. There is more beauty in healing.

And learning new things about yourself. It is exciting on some days, and facing your fears on the next. But it’s a beautiful process that cannot be escaped, if you ever hope to evolve.

 My favourite monthly products:

This month I’ve really enjoyed using some products. Lavender essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, and eucalyptus essential oil. I have fallen in love with essential oils. I love how a few drops can leave my whole house smelling nice. And some of their health benefits too. The eucalyptus really came through for me when I was hit by a minor cold, especially adding 3-4 drops in a bucket of hot water would help with chest congestion.

Humidifier– The humidifier was purchased at HeathyYu store in Yaya Centre. This has helped in leaving the house smelling fresh and less of my pets. I also have notices less flies, as well as ants around so that may help

Favourite Beauty Products

This month my life saver has been my Irene lipsticks.

Eating

I have been enjoying quick and easy meals I can cook for myself. Wishing I had an oven to experiment more. I am now having rice with chicken stew.

Making
More content for this site. I promised I would be more consistent with the content I put up once I got my site up. And I promise not to fail. Also debating on whether I need a pinterest board for dogs.

Last Album I listened to

Tori Kelly –Inspired by True Events I’ve mentioned on this platform how much I love Tori Kelly and her music, so this new album is so welcome for me. She describes it as a continuation of her album Hiding Place, singing on the events that inspired her first album.

Book of the Month

This month I really enjoyed reading The General Theory of Oblivion by Jose Eduardo I honestly started out not following the plot of the book but this booker nominee did not disappoint. The book follows the life of Ludo, an acrophobic who has her life interrupted by a young hoodlum. This story is set against the Angolan history, the quest for independence

Last Thing I watched

Money Heist. It took me a while to start this series, but it is so totally worth it. So far my faveourite character is the proffessor and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Thankful For

Support. Throughout this season I have felt a covering of love from my family and friends. I could not be more thankful.
Also thankful for the grace and covering of God during tough times. There have been so many moments I have felt unable to see the future, but God has continued to prove He is above the storm. And that the storm will never change the love God has towards me.

Verse for the Month

2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
