1.  Eat Healthy
Sounds absurd and like the cliche advice you get, but did you know that what you eat actually affects your mood? It is been scientifically proven that what we eat has an effect on our mood and obviously on our bodies. The one way to beat feeling drained and down is to eat something healthy. Spice up a salad and swap out your junk food for a healthy snack. You wont regret it.

2. Set goals in small portions.

It’s easy to set big goals, and it’s even easier to not reach them. Break down all your goals into smaller chunks for you to bite on.

3.  Have positive daily affirmations.

Start every day with positive daily affirmations. Remind yourself of all the good things about you. Remind yourself that God has gone before you and He is in charge of the day. Play some positive affirmations you can recite as you get ready. Play some up beat music as you affirm your worth at the beginning of each day.

4.  Keep a gratitude list at the end of each day

It can get easy for us to get overwhelmed at at the end of a say we may not have enjoyed. A gratitude list helps us keep track of all the good things that may have happened all through the day. No matter how simple it may be, like being alive. That will help you stay motivated at the end of the day.

5.  Set and maintain good habits

It’s really easy to start up a new habit, but keeping it up? Thats the real work. Keep maintaining your healthy habits each day and allow yourself room to fail and make mistakes. Small healthy habits each day like drinking more water, or simply exercising for 20 minutes each day can have a huge effect on your motivation.

6. Cheer yourself on.

No one will believe in yourself or know more about the struggle to staying motivated than you. Cheer yourself on. Celebrate all the small wins and all the small steps you take towards your progress. Don’t be ashamed of any day you may fall behind, or that things may not go as planned. Some times diversions only lead us to more success.
