“The medium of podcasting and the personal nature of it, the relationship you build with your listeners and the relationship they have with you—they could be just sitting there, chuckling and listening… there’s nothing like that.”

Marc Maron, Host of WTF with Marc Maron

Hello my loves,

I hope you have been holding up well, and taking excellent care of yourselves. Of late I have fallen in love with listening to podcasts. Especially when I am on the move. They are an fun and easy way for me to be entertained and informed. I always thought I prefered consuming visual content but I have fallen in love with podcasts. I have been able to try a variety of podcasts available, some I loved, others not too much. This post is a collection o some of my favorite podcasts and why they made it to this list!

Too Simple

Tracy Gachie is one podcaster I discovered recently and absolutely fell in love with. In her latest episode she’s real about adulting and being a creative and about how rough it can be being a creative and maintaining consistency in the creative field as life just, happens. She also mentioned something I have been struggling with, gratitude. She reminded me of staying happy every day through just thinking about all the amazing things I am thankful for. Including waking  up. I felt her on this one. So many times we get wrapped up in what we do not have rather than we do have.
She is totally down to earth and her content feels so relevant to me. It really does! I would recommend you tune in to her latest episode on adulting and gratitude.

If it’s not learning about how hip hop helped in the study of science, and how representation in film has transformed communities. If anyone knows me, they know I love TED talks. They entertain and inform. I have previously talked about how much I love TED talks and every year, the list of the talks I love continues to grow.

These talks are a fun way for me to unwind when I am chilling and looking for something fun to watch.

I love how diverse the topics and speakers are, and that I can find a talk on anything I love from flying, to violin, to film and literature.

Woman Evolve Podcast

Is there any other member  of the delegation! We are out here drinking out water, and minding our business, and of course working out when we can.
i love that Sarah Jakes tackles real life issues and contrasts them to faith. I love how she continues to touch on a variety of soicla issues not only affecting the church b utthe society at large. She is fun and captivating for me and tuning every week is something I enjoy.

5 minutes in church history.

This 5 minute show by  Dr. Stephen Nichols, is a weekly podcast that provides an informal and informative look at church. The episodes highlight events and people who played  a role in the building of the church. Its informative, brief, and captivating. Definitely something I would encourage you to start and try.

Transformation Church

Transformation nation! I live for my daily dose of Pastor Todd and his real life series. I’m currently on the release series part two. I found pastor Todd in an early part of my faith walk and since then I have not been able to stop tuning in and listening to his messages and series. Some of my favorite have been the Relationship Goals, Marked and 24Ever. He is fun to listen to and he preaches the whole word! Always has me so wrecked
