BLOGMAS DAY 8 | 10 BIBLE VERSES ON CHRISTMAS
So as Christmas comes by, I thought it would be important to share some Bible Verses on the reason we celebrate this festive season.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. The story of the birth of Christ reached humble servants in a field, and they recieved the news with joy.
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John the Baptist recognized Jesus before He even came. He was filled with the spirit and spoke on the coming of Christ
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
The Angel told Mary that she would give birth to a child who would save the whole world! Though she didn’t understand Gods plan, she still said yes.
“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
Isaiah saw the immaculate conception way before Mary was born. Immanuel means God with us.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
“and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
