Hey guys,

Some days just don’t go well AT ALL! Things seem to be going wrong from the moment we wake up. Maybe on some days, everything seems to not be working out, or the attacks feel like they are coming in from so many directions.
Some days are tough for our emotions. We’re battling feelings of grief and disappointment. Maybe you’re also carrying shame. Sometimes the day lasts longer and you find yourself in a season of worry and anxiety.

It happens.

The important part of the process isn’t ignoring the emotions, but going through the emotions with the Holy Spirit.
But the important part of all is to remember to stay rooted on His word and His promises.

Here are 6 verses to take you through the hard times, and to remind you of the faithfulness of God.

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Every thing that happens in the physical realm is a revelation of the fight in the spiritual realm. We’re not fighting people,we’re fighting every attack from the enemy. Pray that God give you wisdom to discern the tricks of the enemy. And on your bad day, remember that the enemy is just trying to take you out! And to make you loose  sight of God and the Kingdom. Don’t do it!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.””
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I can imagine how terrified Joshua May have been! He was picked to follow after Moses. He witnessed everything the Lord did for the Israelites. And He was being called to war. To conquer the land the Lord promised you from their enemies. And they seemed like they were more and more powerful. Many kings even formed alliances against the Israelites. But the Lord continued to reaffirm to Joshua that He would never abandon them. Stay obedient to god even when tough times look like they are too big for you. Nothing is too big for God.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:2-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Somedays, trials aren’t just a way to get you off your game. They could be to teach you or work on something in your character. And it may seem like a situation keeps reoccurring, she’ll God is trying to get you to learn something and to work on something in your heart. And will you still remain faithful to God adulting the days when he feels so far away?

““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.””
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NIV

I love this gentle reminder that Jesus leaves us. He reminds us to be strong and keep going on! In the world we will have trouble. Just like He did! But He overcame the world. What a wonderful reminder that He’s done it so I can do it too!

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NIV
Isnt is my amazing that we don’t have to face ANY of the trouble in this world alone? We have a friend in Jesus. And he continues to ask us to share our burdens, fears, worries and anxieties in him.  No matter what you’re going through, your Wonderful Counselor Jesus is always ready to listen to you and help you out.

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When the hard times hit, where do you put your trust? Do you run to your friends, and vent to them, or do you pour out your heart to Jesus. He’s our ultimate helper and our ultimate supplier of strength.  Trust in the Lord during your times of hardship and reflect on His promises.

Hard times will come. Trouble in this world is promised. But that’s should never allow you to lose focus from God. He has promised to deliver you. He has promised He will never leave you. Lean fully on Him.

Sending you lots of love!
