Hey loves
So in the last set of months it has become imperative for us to discuss mental health issues.
To open, it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to not be strong, and it’s okay to ask for help!
This is a safe space for anyone going through it and just needs a place to vent.

Sharing 4 ways to take care of your mental health in 2020

 1. See A Doctor
I am a huge advocate of seeking mental health and actually going for therapy. This helps so much. It’s okay to move from doctor to doctor until you find one who you are comfortable with

2.Take time for you

One way to beat burnout is make time for you. Don’t get so focused on school or work or achieveing your dreams that you forget to take time to rest and refresh. The value of rest can’t be emphasized enough. Work will always be there, but you won’t. Make resting your priority for 2020

3. Eat well

I can’t emphasize on how important a balanced diet is. Food has a direct effect on your mood and energy levels. Eating well and staying hydrated will keep your body from fatigue and will improve your mental health. While we are here, skipping meals a big no no. Unless your fasting or for other reasons, ensure you eat three healthy and hearty meals a day.

4. Take Care Of What Is Around You

Are you surrounded by negativity and people who bring you down? Is the space you live in clean and comfortable? Both our physical and emotional surroundings have a part to play in our mental health. Keep your space clean and neat, so every time you arrive, it’s like a sanctuary of rest.
Surround yourself with positive people who encourage you and make you happy. Keep unhappy, negative people away and watch your health improve

2020 is the year to prioritize your mental health. Don’t take this valuable asset for granted.

Love Always
